Coolcore technology delivers chemical-free moisture management and UV protection built into the fibre structure rather than applied as a surface treatment. This means performance properties do not wash out over time — the moisture-wicking and UV protection remain effective through repeated washing. The 100% recycled polyester construction diverts post-consumer plastic from landfill without compromising the warmth or drape of the fleece.

Reverse coil zipper lies flat and runs smoothly. Two lower zip pockets for secure storage. Athletic fit: room through the chest for layering, clean lines when worn as a jacket. Size true; size up one if planning to layer over a mid-layer.

In most cases, recycled polyester fleece is indistinguishable from virgin polyester fleece in feel and performance. The fibre properties are the same — the difference is in production. Recycled polyester fleece uses post-consumer plastic bottles as raw material, diverting them from landfill. The CrownLux uses this construction without compromising warmth, moisture management, or durability.
The Coolcore fleece construction provides built-in UV protection through the tight weave and the inherent UV-blocking properties of the polyester fibre. A full-zip gives you temperature control a pullover cannot — zip down the collar for ventilation, open fully as a light jacket.
