The Perform Quarter-Zip is cut in 60% cotton / 35% polyester / 5% spandex French terry — a 4-way stretch midlayer that moves with you rather than pulling across the shoulders or back when you reach forward.

The 4-way stretch comes from the spandex (elastane) fraction. Spandex molecules are coiled at rest and stretch in all directions when pulled — across the chest, up the back, through the arms — then return to their original shape without losing elasticity over time. The French terry construction (a looped-back knit) adds weight and warmth without the rigidity of woven fleece, making it work as a standalone midlayer rather than just an underlayer.

The cadet collar zips to a closed position for neck coverage or unzips to a relaxed open position — no hood to manage. Pre-laundered to reduce shrinkage before the first wash.
